Windows 8 Store makes 20 thousand applications

Microsoft has spent a record in its application store, Windows 8 Store, which has reached more than 20,000 applications are now available for download, which means that in this virtual store are greater than 7000applications over the past two weeks.

Of the roughly 20,000 apps in Windows 8 Store, more than 18,000 are available for free download, and 13,000 of them are valid for U.S. users, 14,000 of those in Canada, and 11,000 British.

According to this trend, Microsoft can reach its target of 30,000 applications by the end of the year, as the daily increase is about 500 applications per day.

It will be interesting to see the growth of Microsoft shop after a year, as many developers are already applications oriented towards Windows 8 Store.
